The Bergisel Ski Jump in Innsbruck, Austria

Bergisel Ski Jump

Bergisel Ski Jump

Innsbruck / Austria

Architects: Zaha Hadid

The Bergisel Ski Jump in Innsbruck, Austria, is a landmark and an architectural marvel and was Office of Visual Interaction’s first collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects. Its smooth, curved structure connects the sky and earth, a continuous ribbon that incorporates sports facilities, a public viewing area, and a cafe into the shape of the ski jump itself. This ribbon shape extends far into the sky, a gleaming beacon visible from downtown Innsbruck.  The lighting design brings the ski jump’s energetic story to life with colors that cement its iconic nighttime identity.
